Blue flag 2018
On 5 June, on World Day of Environmental Protection, fourteen-time in a row the blue flags were raised in front of the accommodation facilities of Arena Hospitality Group-e on the beaches Yacht, Brioni and Ambrela. The Blue flag for the beaches and the marines is the international ecological program for the protection of the environment, the sea, and the coast, whose primal goal is sustainable management and management of the sea and coastline.
Except for the beach decoration and setting lifeguard tower, these beaches pay special attention to the purity of the sea as one of the most important conditions for obtaining this international recognition. Today's raising ceremony was held below the hotel Park Plaza Histria, and the Blue flag was raised by the animation director and the Blue flag Arena Hospitality Group project Zvjezdana Ružić Stella. Later on, there was also a pre – prepared program where the rescue service of the Arena Hospitality Group presented a demonstration rescue exercise, the guests were also introduced by the attendees of the dance center Studio who played the part of their new program. The program ended with the introduction of a children's exhibition on nature protection and the environment. All the works were created in the kids clubs of the accommodation facilities of Arena Hospitality Group by our youngest guests. Today the Blue Flag is a highly regarded tourist product in the world today, which is becoming a major tourist landmark for selecting tourist destination. By participating in this program, the company not only ensures the cooperation of tourism and environmental protection, but also the raising of the quality of services of a tourist destination.
