Visualia Festival in Pula, Croatia 2025

Visualia is Croatia’s very first festival dedicated to light and new media, and it proudly stands as one of the most prominent cultural and tourist events in Pula and the Istrian region. Over the course of three days, the festival attracts more than 15,000 visitors.

Set in the historic core of Pula, Visualia transforms around ten city locations into immersive art spaces across three consecutive evenings. Audiences can explore approximately twenty works of light and audiovisual art, including light installations, interactive setups, 2D and 3D mapping projections, and live light performances. The entire artistic program is free and open to the public from 8:00 PM to midnight, with the exception of certain performances and screenings scheduled for specific times.

Since its launch in 2013, Visualia has earned recognition for its high-quality artistic programming, blending creativity with entertainment. The festival is strongly integrated into the international light art community, with memberships in global networks such as ILO and LUCI, and it actively collaborates on various cross-border projects. Pula’s mild climate, natural beauty, and rich historical backdrop further enhance Visualia’s status as a must-visit cultural and tourist experience.
