summer evenings with poetry, music, dance and film
From July 22nd to 24th, INK is moving to Kaštel again, with a program that brings together poetry, music, theater and film in three evenings, designed as a crossover event on the border of performance forms.
The program opens on Tuesday, July 22nd at 9:15 PM, with actress Jadranka Đokić reading poetry by Evelina Rudan from her latest collection Polje, smala, žudnja. This is the first of two evenings dedicated to this powerful poetic voice. The performance is accompanied by a soundscape performed live by Miodrag Gladović. At 10 PM, the evening continues with a concert by Maja Posavec and Ivan Kapec, with a band, entitled An Evening with Leonard Cohen, a Musical Homage to the Great Poet and Singer-Songwriter.
On Wednesday, July 23rd, the second part of the poetic performance Đokić–Rudan–Gladović will follow, also at 9:15 PM. After that, at 10 pm, the audience will have the opportunity to watch the dance performance With Robert, by author and performer Roberta Mileva, a performance that explores the space of intimacy through movement and physical presence, on the border of choreography and personal writing.
The closing evening, July 24, begins at 9:30 pm with the award ceremony for the most loyal viewer of the theater season, Ode to the Heart. This will be followed by a screening of the silent classic "The Passion of Joan of Arc" by Carl Theodor Dreyer, reinterpreted through a live sound performance by three exceptional musicians - Alen and Nenad Sinkauz and Luka Čapeta, in collaboration with the Valli Cinema. The program concludes at 11 pm with a DJ set by the Samonikle collective, in an informal atmosphere, partying and socializing with the audience.
